As a lifelong dog lover and proud Portuguese Water Dog owner, my journey with this incredible breed began in 2011 when we welcomed two male PWDs into our family. From that moment on, I was captivated by their intelligence, energy, and unwavering loyalty.
A few years later, I was given the invaluable opportunity to mentor under the guidance of my breeder, Carolynne Issa. This mentorship opened the door to a world of "firsts" - in December 2017, our beloved Lily joined our pack, and went on to have three litters, all whelped and raised in our home. It was through Lily that I was introduced to the realms of conformation, water work, and the vibrant community of fellow PWD enthusiasts.
I am truly fortunate to have learned from experienced breeders who have generously shared their wealth of knowledge and insights.
As our pack continued to grow, we welcomed Gibson (Lily's daughter), Harper, and Mia into our family. Life with these girls is a whirlwind of activity, but the joy and fulfillment they bring is immeasurable.
In October 2022, Lily officially retired from our breeding program, but she remains a cherished member of our family, where she spends her days engaged in agility, water work, and serving as an active participant in the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog Program.
My love for Portuguese Water Dogs has only deepened over the years, and I am honored to be a part of this incredible breed's legacy.
